"Mythological Archetypes" is an investigation into how the microcosm of the family reflects the macrocosm of myth. The series transposes the dynamic between mother and daughter into the universe of Greek mythology, recreating archetypal figures in photographic prints that evoke classical painting. By personifying figures such as Pandora, Dionysus, Charon, and Themis, the work questions the origin of social roles and power structures. It is an essay on inheritance, not only genetic or behavioral, but mythical, suggesting that the first lessons about life, death, justice, and transgression are learned through the mirror of the maternal figure.
