Zoon Erótikon

"Zoon Erotikon" is a dive into the abyss where body and symbol meet. My mother's hands become the stage for a silent ritual, manipulating bones, feathers, and eyes to question what remains of the animal within us. The series is accompanied by a nine-movement essay, a collage of poetic and philosophical reflections on the beauty of the useless, the power of absence, and the legacy of mortality. The work proposes a dialogue between image and word to explore the condition of the 'erotic animal': a being defined not by strength, but by the desire to look into the void and find there, in its very lack, the incessant pulse of life.
